Anyone have any info on this.
I badly mis-spelled a search and still got 2 hits. Curious I tried other gibberish words and still got the same hits!!
File sizes the same and a Bitzi look-up seems to suggest different names but all marked misleading/dangerous.
I tried my own usernames from other forums and several friends actual naes - yes, you guessed it, same files came up.
Now, how can there be files with a random-input name (it works every time provided you don't put too any letters in) unless it's something that's actually IN Limewire (either on purpose or a bug).
Always either a jpg 38kb or a wmv of 106.7 (I haven't tried to download them to see what they are - I'm not that green)

Doh! Please have a look around the forums BEFORE you post! Yes there is a spam device htat replicates every search on p2p & returns results in wmv, jpeg & exe files. The answer is to filter out these results befoe they happen. Go to Tools>Options>Keywords & add .wmv. jpg, & exe & these will no longer appear in your search results. These filter words can be added or removed anytime! Just make sure you use the Apply button! My sincere apologies. I tried a few forum searches but got no results - obviously didn't use the right keywords. I should have read through some of them as well.
I also apologise for the lack of details in my post (system, client etc). I will try and do better the next time. Although this is my first post to this forum, I am on other forums and should have known better. Sorry.
