Default I want my registration key!

Hi, I purchased LimeWire back in June 2004. I tried downloading the PRO version today after formating my Mac OS X system. When I click on the link on the top left (Allready bought PRO?) and type in my e-mail adresse I used to purchase this software it says that this e-mail is not in your system.

I'd like to know why my registration code has mysteriously disapeared and I'd like it back

I don't want that damn pop up every time I open up the program.

I am aware that when I originally purchased it gave me six months of free ugprades. I don't care for upgrades, I just want to be able to have the product i PAID for!

thank you,

You paid for Pro & received Pro 6 mths ago. Once the 6 mths of registration is up your details are removed from the presently registered users. Did you think your link would be there forever? If you buy any program & if you lose it, that's your problem not the softw company's problem. I'd ask why didn't you back up your pro version. Most normal people do back up their files in case of situations like this. You can use your pro version forever if it's in your possession. It sounds hard, but actually not so. With many softw's if you lose your copy after purchasing online then there's no 2nd chance. But with LW Pro you have 6 mths in which you can re-dwnld or update your LW Pro.

Default Terms & Conditions

Seems like "Registered" did not read the terms and conditions, if you buy something check on the terms on which you buy it that way you will not get caught out.

In addition, LOTR will not have to explain the obvious in future.

Thumbs down

i think its a stupid policie to auto delete every customer past 6 months. Most normal companies keep records of all their customers.

sorry for not being "normal" and not making a back up of a software which can be downloaded from the internet. I told myself why would I need to backup a piece of software that is available online. If I lost my Resgistration key I could easily retrieve it from them... apparently not. very disapointed.
