I believe I purchased the lifetime downloads from LimeWire, and downloaded to my desktop computer. It is networked with my laptop, and I'd like to put the program onto my laptop also, but don't know how to do that. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you in advance for taking your time to help a newbie...

Thanks for the help Peerless; it may be good for LimeWire to know that someone might be mimicking their webpage to steal from people.

It is good and the Limewire guys do know about it.
Problem is that there isn't much they can do about it aside from creating a thread for people to post links to scam sites. (said thread already exists btw: Peerless has posted the link to it just above)

It seems like these people should be able to be tracked down through their code (after all the e-payment had to go somewhere), and if they can pop up a window that looks just like limewire's when people put in the limewire url, why can't limewire pop up a window over their window that says "beware - this link is a scam! The real limewire is here...." - just sort of yanking back what was being yanked away in the first place ...

Just a thought. I'm sure it isn't an original one. no need for a reply. Thanks for your postings, though.
