What are peers and ultrapeers & leafs?!?!

This was discussed in a recent thread. Do a forum search for either peer, ultrapeer, or leaf.

i was wondering the same thing and this thread repeatedly comes up in the search function. so could you, mod, please explain ultrapeers or provide a link to the thread exlpaining them.
