Default Passing Viruses

If someone downloads music from limewire, and burns the tracks to a CD, and one of the tracks happens to have a virus..... and then the person rips the tracks to another computer, does that computer now have the virus..??

yao,
What you describe is theoretically possible.
But only with WMA files as far as I know.

Default Viruses in CDs

People

It is possible to pass viruses from CDs to anything else that is why you should always check your files, before you burn them, with an AV checker. Once that virus is burned into a CD there is no way to get it out.

Windows users with long memories should remember that when Windows 95 CD first came out it had a virus burned into it. MS had to recall and scrap that CD.
