Default Watch your bank account

I have an ATM card for an account I haven't used in over a year. I wanted to update to Limewire PRO, so in an act of unprecidented intelligence, I transferred money from my main account to my unused account, and then used this account to buy PRO. The next day, a company in Florida started using this ATM account and charging it money. The first hit was for *****01, just to verify the account was still open I guess. Then they started debiting my account 40-50 bucks per day until I caught it. It turns out it's a company in Deerfield Beach, FL going by the name of "Billing Services" and "Jettis, Inc". Both are under investigation by the FL Attorney General's office. Now how do you suppose they gained access to an account I only used once in a year - just after updating my Limewire account to PRO? I would hate to think Limewire is involved, but I do think one of their employees are. Just what I think, nothing more. Be careful and watch your bank account.

A number of scammers are using Limewire; some over-charging for Pro, (often with "lifetime membership"), others charging for LW Basic.

The real Limewire office is in NYC.

Yes I think I have previously seen a case where multiple charges were made by the scam company. Known Scam Sites (click on link). Thing is, LimeWire.org do not advertise. Scam sites do advertise & searches via google & other popular search engines will find lots of scam sites, including their adverts appear on forums & sites that have google advertising. Dare I say it, it (scam site google ads) happens on these forums too but they are difficult to remove.
