firstly,im a computer goofball.its shamefull.2ndly,does port and firewall #'s have to be the same?6348 is the # i see as the port and 6346 is the firewall #.lastly,im using so much stuff trying to safeguard my a$$....pc tools spyaware, spy subtractor, avg, some built in stuff......its crazy, after an hour or so ,w/o fail...i get d/c. |

I don't use Win XP so I don't have all that xtra stuff. Just be careful of the spychecker that belongs to M$. The ones I'm aware of that are apparently trustful are: ad-ware , & Spybot - Search & Destroy , & Spy Sweeper Which anti-virus are you using? Are you using Windows XP? Did you configure your firewalls to allow Limewire (LW) full access: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml Do you know if you have win XP SP1 or SP2? |

anti virus i use is AVG.and i do allow limewire as an exception in my firewall section.when i click on tools here on limewire,my port and firewall numbers are different.can that be the cause of my discontent?and let me repeat, you guys and gals are awesome.tyvm for your time. |
