Java Runtime

I am having a difficult time downloading Java Runtime. Does Limewire use only Java or is there another program that I can download that Limewire will recognize? Thanks for any assistance!

Sun (the company that makes Java) has been having some difficulty for the past day or so. We're looking into what we can do to alleviate the problem.
