 Hiding your IP address I have to questions about IP addresses. 1.What is this about being able to hide your IP address by using a proxy when downloading?? 2. Is is true that Limewire mixes up your IP address so that the real address can not be found?  |

 IP visible I'm not a coder, im just a reader of this forum. But I think that IP addresses are publically visible to any user on the network by default. I think the proxy option only exists in cases of firewalls and internal networks using a single IP for many machines. |
