Moved folder = Access denied Hi, this is my first problem with limewire yet. I made some folders inside the shared folders (lets say to d/l a tv show, and i just moved the completed episodes into that folder). I could then watch them from that folder and still share them. Everything was great. Well today i tried to move one of my folders from the shared folder to my normal harddrive. Except now when i double click on the folder it says access denied, and that it is not accessable. I've tried moving the folder back to the shared folder, but it won't move (since my access is denied). I've tried rebooting, no go. Tried looking under properties (and there's nothing wrong). If there is anything anyone can do to help me i'd be greatly in your dept. Thanks in advance. |
hmmm just a thought are you logging on with administartive privileges. If your logged in as a user account it may not allow what you are trying to do. |
To answer both. Yes, i moved it while running limewire (but havn't tried safe mode yet, i'll try that next). And yes, i am loged in as the Administrator, there are no other users other then myself. EDIT I've now also tried safe mode, loged in as administrator. And i still can't move the file, or even delete it. This is starting to worry me. I had 10 gig's in that folder, and it's still missing from my harddrive. Which means i might have 10 gigs of deadspace now. |
