I asked around and some of my friends with the free version of limewire said yes....does anyone know anything about that?? and whats the limit if there is one??

There is a limit you can set in the options on how many files you download at once (too many files tend to slow everything down).

There is no limit how many files you can download altogether (just the size of your hard drive).
