does Limewire exist? I tried to sign up for Pro today 17th Feb, I filled in the form with all my details along with card details. As soon as I clicked on send it flashed up that my card had been declined and said that I should check my details and resend. I did this only for a window to open saying that I had already requested from this account and if I Proceeded I would be charged with a second account. I checked my card account only to find that $18.88 had been taken from this account. I have sent 2 emails to Limewire for an explanation but as yet had no response. Has anyone got a Telephone contact number? as I am a very confused lady, wondering if I have been ripped off Last edited by lizziebrad; February 17th, 2005 at 02:47 PM. |

lizziebrad: Try these 2 addresses: service@limewire.com or feedback@limewire.com These addresses only apply to pro users but also to those already paid at the official LW site. Every once in a while someone has some issue with the stage you're at but it ends up being fixed. Try mailing them again thu the above addresses. By the way, after paying it takes up to 24 hours before receiving an email from customer support for a link to your personal downld page for pro. many thanks LOTR but the e-mails I sent were to: service@limewire.com and as I said I have had no response from them. Could be because I threatened them with IF |

thanks for that information, but they have already taken the $18.88 from my account even though they said that the card had been declind. I did not know that they had a second edition so I have no idea as to what the difference might be (if any). I will leave it until monday and then start looking to get the money back. I have sent 3 e-mails to LM but had no reply as yet. |

Hi LOTR I can hang in there a little longer, It's just the thought of all those downloads I am missing out on .(sob sob) . I do understand that things can go wrong, I just dont like parting with my money for nothing |

Good morning LOTR, Guess what, I'm still waiting. I have just sent another e-mail to services. I did think of using the free one, thats how I manage to get onto the Forum (duh) but it takes forever to download things, which is why I went for the pro. I just hope it proves it's worth after all this |
