![]() This is a tough one! I was using the arrows to adjust the size of the display for downloads when it just started moving to the right. Now it is showing about one quarter of an inch and won't move to the left when I try to manipulate the display. Ever heard of this before? I've been trying for about one half hour and no results. HELP! |

![]() L of the R, I am aware of the arrows which aide the resizing of the windows. However, any attempt to use these arrows proved to be of no avail. I did solve the problem by closing out LW completely and restarting it. Thanks for your assistance=) |

![]() Hey, Guys! I really want to thank you for all your help. I did manage to solve this one though. I simply disconnected then connected again and voila, as they say. There is one thing however, I still have files with as much as 99% completion that have been just sitting for as long as three weeks!:confused, I KNOW that the files that ar not finishing had ample sources so what's the prob? |

![]() Lord of the Rings, The problem with stopping the search and starting over is that I can never find the EXACT file I previously had. I've tried this and lost some files I reeeeealy wanted. I'm not sure if I have my U/L & D/L speeds adjusted right. Same with my bandwidth adjustment. I could use some clarification there! |

![]() I think you misunderstood me. Don't stop any searches. If you can't locate the same file in searches then there's not a lot you can do. But if you do locate it but it won't start downlding or starts downlding but at 0 speed, then that's when I mean to select the file fromthe downld window, press Stop, then (re-)select it from the search results & press downld button. I find this can sometimes revigorate it. Sounds like the file(s) you're after are not common & the uploaders are not online very often or they're of difficult connectability. |

![]() Some general ideas about optimising LW & use of LW: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities. eg: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...028#post116028 |
