What happened to my limewire?

Every search I have tried today has turned up nothing. I mean nothing comes up on the screen. I even tried tried an old search I have used before and still nothing comes up. I am connected to the internet, and I have limewire connected to the internet under my "File" option. So, why is there nothing going on?
