Re: Re: Re: Scammed Quote: Originally posted by redvass I just paid $25 for a 2 year membership to www.mymusicinc.com, thinking it was a p2p service. Turns out I just bought a service warranty of sorts that lasts for 2 years. I found the following on the FAQ's of that site:
QUESTION: The software you offer for downloading music is free...what did I just pay for?
EXPLANATION: True, the software is free, however in addition to providing you with all the software and guidance you need to start downloading your favorite music, we also offer unlimited, friendly, 7x24 technical support. Additionally, the payment helps to keep this website running and allows us to continue to offer this service to music fans all over the world.
They say I can get refunded in the first 30 days. Hope this is helpful.

My "helpful" website was also www.mymusicinc.com but they also communicated to me as www.mymusicmember.com - and as www.allcoolmusic.com. I sent them an email, which got no response. But I also contacted www.clickbank.com who had processed the payment. And they promptly sent me an email stating that the charge would be refunded.
I wouldn't wait 30 days, I can tell you that! And as far as a "service warranty of sorts", that may be problematic. The promise of "unlimited, friendly, 7x24 tech support - I'd take that with a grain of salt.
Good luck |
