As I was saying about sharing my files, I have to copy some files from my friends so that I can put them into the "shared" folder. Now I am sharing about 16 files (which I copied from my friends) but the download is still just as bad. No improvement. Help me?! |

sharing i agree with you completely, but what do you think about those that limit the upload speed to maximise their download speed on a slow 56K dial-up internet connection? do you know if increasing the upload speed can increase the download speed? from what i have read of limwire, in theory it does, but have u seen practical proof of this? |

Dial up is the exception to the rule. Since upld & downld use the same bandwidth, you need to balance the 2. Even if it's very low, people are still often able to get acceptable results from dial up users when there's multiple users with the same file so they get a bit from each of them. |
