I recently upgraded (and bought) the current 4.6 version of Limewire Pro. Previously, the program worked very well so I wondered what the advantage might be of the newer version. Anyway, I bought it and installed it. I guess it installed over the previous version.
Since then the program is almost impossible to use. It's very sluggish and clicking on anything takes over 15secs or so before the action takes place. Trying to scroll down a listing of possible tunes to download is very frustrating. I move the slider down, but the list doesn't move - at first. I think it hasn't registered so do it again but now the first move happens. I try to stop at the section I want but everything moves past. No matter what I try to do, there's a very lengthy delay before anything happens.
As it is, I can't use Limewire.
Does anyone else have the same problem? Does anyone have a clue as to how I can fix this? Emailing Limewire support doesn't get me any replies.
