![]() New Scientist and the University site itself. They have a download too for Limewire Credence.exe Thought I'd grab a copy but haven't yet got round to trying it. Sounds like a more rigourous Bitzi look up type of thing in its effect. http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn7179 http://www.cs.cornell.edu/People/egs...nce/index.html |

![]() Dear LW Folks Can anyone shed any more light on this product/add-on? On the surface it seems like a very good idea, giving high marks to good files and bad marks to spam and false files, but before I would be willing to take the plunge I want to hear from LW. UK Bob |

![]() These chaps at cornell uni., aren't they the same ones who discovered the LW security bugs a few weeks back? The LW team then corrected this with LW 4.8... ..if they are the same team they would surely be legit. |

![]() hmm.. initially I felt happier with the performance of LW 4.6 But on the whole no great difference to speak of between 4.6 and 4.8.1 -- I did at one point delete my .limewire folder though. (a fix mentioned way back for LW probs) but this didn't make much difference. Last edited by lassie; March 30th, 2005 at 12:44 AM. |
