I'm fed up with looking at the incoming searches and finding keywords such as child, underage etc.

Why doesn't the guys at Limewire do searches like these and delete all of the perverted crap from the registry and report the ip addresses of the people holding and searching for these things to the authorities. There must be some way of stoping these horrible people

Well you can apply filters & use some common sense. Here's some hints: 1. autogenerated spam results 2. Movie download issues

I know I can add filters. I have done that to filter out the searches I make. I'm on about incoming searches. It's not about filters and keywords, it's about stopping these people from being out there.

As in the links within the 1st link I gave you, such as this Quality of Content on the Network I guess they have just as much freedom to use the medium as we do whether we love it or hate it. I agree some stronger filters, etc. would be very handy ... but. We could tell the government to behead everybody who dares to read a porn magazine. The fact is it's out there, & we just need to be vigilent towards stepping around it. Previewing what we are downlding when possible can help. Or even blocking those particular users. You can block them you know.

Nothing against porn. If people get a kick from it then fine by me. It's the child & rape stuff that makes me sick. Ah well, guess I'll just have to put up with it. The child & rape fans should be beheaded. Slowly.

We absolutely agree. In fact the forum has helped the FBI with investigations of just that sort. We abhor it. ... there's been numerous discussions on the forum about child porn & how we'd also like to slowly behead them. It's a horrible scene to say the least ... but answers aren't so easy.

OP, there's not much you can do about legal pornography on Limewire, except take all measures to avoid material you don't want to see.

As for child porn, I'm sure there must be a way record their IP address and report them to the proper authorities. Does anyone know how to find out the location or ISP of any given IP number?
