Is there a good way to burn movies and such to dvd. I have a dvd burner w/ nero but it does seem to reconise my limewire content, only my music files? do I need a divx to dvd copy program. Thanks for any help

Thanks, i've just been looking on there. I'm using this nero start smart, it will let me make a data cd with video files on it that I can watch on my computer, just cant find them when I go to dvd burn!. I'm sure tthat site will have the anwser though.

all dvd movies need to be in VOB format. there are various programs to convert the different files from mpg, divx, wmv etc
Nero works very well for burning a compiled movie in VOB format, if you want to rip a dvd then use dvdshrink which can be found at http://www.dvdshrink.org , dvdshrink can also be setup to use nero to burn your ripped dvds.

One good program for creating VOBs from your mpegs etc is Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3, you can create menus, show up to 30 second clips of the movie in the menu, add sound, various backgrounds & templates or create your own.......If you use the clips then the background sound is limited to the amount of seconds you set it for but if you use a Still Frame you could use a whole song to play. You can even add various transitions etc. you could let Movie Factory do the whole job or just save the VOBs and IFOs and burn with Nero.

thanks, I downloaded dvd shrink and keep comming up w/ the same results, open files, click on limewire, and all it can find are pro tools and some game I downloaded, no other files. thanks anyways guys

In Nero Start smart did you select dvd, upper middle. I use Nero with no problems, but you have to select dvd or cd.

yeah I clicked the dvd option, go to "add". still only list pro tools and the game. if I change to "Show all files" at the bottom it will then show everything including music, but when I select a video file it says no compatable file found.
