Downloaded a file w/viruse attached...help I use Norton and it showed that a file I downloaded had a number of viruses. It was able to delete all but two. How come Norton wasn't able to detect it? Now it keeps telling me, that I still have two viruses. Is the solution to get ride of them to format? And why do these jerks do this. Is it because they don't have a life and nothing better to do than ruin someone elses day? Sorry guys...PMSing Silk |
They have no life, and nothing better to do, is all I can figure. Did you try going to norton website. http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/d...d=ie&venid=sym They may have a removal tool you can use. If norton identified the virus you can look it up. Best of luck, and I really loathe people like that. |

Viruses..ggggrr Thank you both for the info. I found 33 spywear and 2 trojans. Took care of the trojans but said it had to make an update for the spywear. I deleted the file that gave me the virus. Didn't want anyone else to download the file. Thanks again. |
