mp3 to wma

I would like to convert some mp3s to wma and am confused by the huge number of settings to mess with. I am using dBpoweramp and the choices of wma settings is daunting... I would like to reduce size but not lose to much quality. Anybody got any experience that can give me some guidelines?? thanks
