Only runs minimized on Taskbar

LimeWire 4.8.1 on Windows XP Pro - no Firewall Installed. I have been successfully running this version of LimeWire since it came out. Today while I was using it, it minimized itself to the TaskBar and I am unable to expand it. When I click on it on the TaskBar nothing happens and when I right-click I don't get a menu either. The TaskBar icon reads - LimeWire: Enabling Open Information Sharing. I shut the program down thru Task Manager and then performed an uninstall thru Add/Remove Programs. The re-install brought me to the same place with it running minimized only. What can I try next?

The normal way to uninstall LW is via the LW uninstaller: Start menu > Programs >LW > Uninstaller

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

Thanks - You're the Best!!!! Once I deleted that folder I was able to get LimeWire working again.
