![]() I live in the UK, and I'm just wondering... Say I download, I dunno, a few songs and maybe some software from Limewire, how likely am I to get caught by the UK authorities/creators of the software. I just kinda want to know to be on the safe side, before I get myself into anything daft. |

![]() Gimped Your best bet is not to do anything daft because your IP address can tracked and the authorities, like international companies, do communicate with each other. The main thing that you should be concerned with is protecting your PC against the inevitable barrage of malware you are going to encounter while using P2P. Remember, P2P software like Limewire allows you to connect to a myriad number of other users PCs, and some of those users intentions are, to say the least, destructive. Stay safe and enjoy using Limewire, I do. UK Bob Last edited by ukbobboy01; April 12th, 2005 at 12:30 AM. |
