The following is a quote from the LimeWire troubleshooting FAQ. Quote:
6-4A. Open your incomplete directory. Any partial downloads will be named something like this:
T-2732032-ThisSong.mp3
The number represents the size in bytes. Since LimeWire reports file sizes in kilobytes, the file size is 2,732 kb. The next part is the original file name. The T and dashes are just separators, so don't worry about them. Now, with the information you have collected, perform a search for the song name. Out of your search results, find the one that has the same names and file size in kbs. Files of slighty different sizes may work. Select the appropriate file and click "Download Any", and your download should resume from where it left off before!
| I did try to make it somewhat easy to understand, but if you have any suggestions for making it simpler or clearer, by all means let me know! :-) |
