As you're aware LW only downlds to one final folder. But perhaps this might help ... but don't know if it interests you: iTunes shared library or/& Albumwrap/iTunes |
thanks but .. thanks alot for that, unfortunatly i dont use ituns as a result of not owning an ipod, never really got around to purchasing one of those! but anywho, are you sure there are no possible ways to get files into another folder?. on the tool bar side underneeth my shared folder i have other folders such as dave mathews and techno, the dead, what have you, only about 4, but unfortunatly there is nothing in those folders. Comming back to my problem, i dont no how to get any of my music from shared into these folders, i think you may have replied with not knowing, but i have no idea!! lol... if you could reply again and help me out that would be awsome, thanks for even responding.. |
The whole point of what I was saying about iTunes is that it creates separate folders for each artist & their albums & everytime you add a song to iTunes it automatically adds it to the appropriate location or creates them. And if you adjust the id3 tag it also will automatically update the folders & playlists. ie: if you share your iTunes music library then it will be nicely organised for you. Just as the examples I gave. The difference b/w iTunes & wmp is that iTunes uses its own library of songs unless you use a playlist. Whereas wmp is simply a reference player & basically relies on playlist type of thinking. Thus if you move a song from one folder to another, wmp won't be able to find it unless you update its database with a computer search. Same applies to Real P. Just a thought. As for anything else well there's no alternative at present. You need to separate the files yourself. What you can do is organise your downld folder by file-type so all files of a particular type will be grouped making it easier to separate them so you can cut & paste them wherever. |
