deleting files from playlist
 
I am new to this and really don't know what i am doing... i try and delete songs that i have down loaded from my libary,and they keep telling me the file is in use by someone else and i know it's not.so can anyone please tell me how to do this?also they say i have to delete it from my playlist and i have done that in my windows media player but where is the playlist in limewire?see i told you i don't know what i am doing. lol Hope someone can PLEASE help me

hmmmm just a thought.

If the file is in your share folder. It is possible a host might be u/l it from you. That may be why your getting the file is in use.

You provided no information on your operating system, so I'm going to take a guess here. My crystal ball is broken and Peerless won't lend me his.

Close LimeWire --- make sure it just didn't minimize to your task bar or tray. If it did minimize just right click the lime icon and select close/exit.

Using windows explorer locate the folder. then locate the file you would like to delete. Highlight the file and single right click. This will bring up a box and select delete. This will delete the file provided you have admin. priviliges.
