New user question Hi i have recently started using Lime and find i t good. Can anyone tell what the significance of the red lettering of dl's in the library, does it denote that the host is off line? Also why will some mpg/wmv files play but others want a security update? Cheers |

Red files in library means they are not shared on Gnutella. Don't know about your second question. Don't use WMP, use VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Ciao

"Red files in the library means they are not shared on Gnutella." like the man from Qubec said. In the shared folders in the library it means thy have not yet got onto the network, but will in a few minutes. In the incomplete folder some files are red because they are the parts that have been previewed and cannot be resumed, some others appear red occasionally, why I know not! but I think they will not resume from where they left off, but will restart from zero. I hope this helps a little. and I hope I have got it about right. |
