Default Explain this to me.....

Why oh why oh why when you want to resize a column (such as the filename one) in Limewire does it 'borrow' space from the adjacent column instead of pushing it and all the other columns along? Invariably when you want to resize a column you have to then resize all the other columns to the right of the one you originally resized.

This annoys me to the point where I am actively looking for another gnutella client.

Anyone got any ideas why this 'feature' was programmed in?

Any theorys welcomed.

It used to be the other way, and people complained. So we made it the way it is now. I suppose we can make it an option and default to the old way. I kinda prefer the old way also.

Thanks for the quick reply.

That option would be superb and would restore my faith in Limewire.

I don't know why people would complain about it being the other way. Every OS I've ever seen works the 'old way'.

Cheers.
