Once you get to your music folder, go to the very far right bottom corner of the window thats displaying your music files and hold down the right mouse key and drag it to the very far left top corner and let go of the mouse key and then you'll see an option to select. Once you do that, your media will start playing.

I'm having problems getting the screenshots uploaded. At any rate, once your music starts to play, go to file, scroll down to the save now playing option and save a playlist file to your desktop (whatever name you wish).

You can even try out Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery Software. It helped to recover images video, documents, spreadsheet, web content and many more than 300 file types.
Download the demo to try the software from: Partition Recovery Software recovers windows data and provides NTFS & FAT file recovery
Demo shows the preview of the recovered data.

Hey I had the same problem. Here is a link that helps. I found my files and have now put them in their proper place...

I didn't know what the name of my folder was, so did a computer search for an artist I knew was in the old file. Found out the name of the file and followed the directions on this link. Hope this helps

Hi, I'm also new to this and I think this is the right forum for me...? Here's my question: I had many songs in my Library and they are suddenly all gone! Where have they gone? I know I didn't delete them but...?

Can somebody please help me?

Default Recovering Deleted Files

Another great product to try is Advanced File Recovery, apparently it works very well. I can't say from my experience, as I have luckily never been in a situation where I would need to recover files, but from what I've heard it does a great job.
