i can't help you on this one, but i have a similar problem. I don't know why, but when i opened limewire today, almost all my files were missing. the only ones still in my saved files were 4 new songs that i had left downloading the other day, and one other. I have no idea why that one older file would still be there when the others weren't (but whatever)
Please tell me what happened to my music? |

I think I know why... you 'change user' on your pc and opened the program in an other account?
Cause if you did...then that's the reason... Dont know where they could have gone though... |

not sure what operating system you are using?
but if windows use windows explorer and search your hard drive for one of the files. If you can remember the name. or file type like .mp3 etc. Normally a file recovery program will list the files that are recovered, not sure why your's didn't. It is possible they may have been over written and are unrecoverable now. I'm sorry if this is the case. It has happened to me before, and I had to start over again. |

You can try PC Inspector File Recovery which is free. (Norton costs money of course.) If you delete items via the Library in LW, they by-pass the recycle bin. But their skeletons will still be on the hard disk drive (HDD.) But to recover them you must stop using any program that writes to the HDD. Likewise if you downld pc recovery you should downld & save it to another computer. And to recover files, try to recover to an external device or another partition where your erased files were not stored. But sometimes recovery programs like norton can't recover files until after the comp has rebooted or on a different day. Just my 2 cents. You can hope it's not as bad as Fabion suggested.

Easy all you do is move/copy the audio file into the shared folder and then post what the files name is in this forum (i could do with a few laughs) unless dat person is gd then still tell me the file name coz i like gd music
