Default Incomplete File Resume

I have 2 TV shows that I had been d/l for a while now. 1 was at 96% and the other was at 67%. Today when I qued them up they were both at 0%. I can go to the incomplete folder and preview the files with vlc. THey are definately there and definately a lot further along than 0%. What gives?

hmm, difficult to tell what's going on there. Wait for the download to commence, if LimeWire is still at 0% when the download started and LimeWire did not create new files in your incomplete directory for it, then you have found another bug.

It's currently not possible to resume an incomplete file that LimeWire lost, - not without editing the source code anyway. I've encountered similar problems a couple of times, even though they probably were not related to your problem and everytime I had to hack LimeWire to recover the download.

Default detached partial downloads

I have had a similar problem. I'm running XP. LimeWire closed unexpectedly and when started again the download list had disappeared.

The partially downloaded files were still on the hard disk but when these were selected to "resume" in the Library window downloading started from 0%.

I'm real keen to salvage several of these. Can anyone tell me how to "re-establish" the partials on the download list so that they start where they left off.

Many thanks in advance.

Unhappy

I have MacOsX 10.3.9 and what happened is the following: Limewire freezed. I had to shut it down and restart and the download list was lost. I tried to "resume" them from the library but then all of them started with 0% again. Limewire didn't create a new file in the "incomplete"-folder but seemed to use the existing incomplete file but in the download window it shows as if it had to download everything all over again....900 mb...4 days...
does anybody know what to do?

Look thru this threads...

1. Downloads "Jump" backwards

2. download starts over

Default Resume Problem

Guys

Never had a resume problem before V4.9.28, how was this flaky version ever selected for release?

thanks for your help. But it seems that it didn't resolve my problem. What I find strange is that the incomplete files are saved in the "incomplete"-folder...and still LW doesn't recognise them.

Question reset downloads

I am keen to salvage one of my downloads that was reset to 0% where a 203 MB temp file is still siting in my partial downloads directory.

Can anyone explain how a novice could "hack LimeWire to recover the download" as suggested was necessary by Trap_Jaw?

Thanks
