hash tree?

What is a hash tree? I always see it on my uploads.

Something like a maple but smaller. The leaves contain THC.

IHNA could explain the technical aspects of a hash tree are, but here's a link from google http://www.open-content.net/specs/dr...e-thex-02.html

basically--it's a method of making sure you get the exact pieces of a file, no matter where those individual pieces originate.
