Can't clear library

I deleted a couple files I had downloaded (not from the library) and now i can't clear them from the library. help!

try hitting the 'refresh' button.

this is wierd. there was something in red called thumbs in the library, i deleted that and the library cleared the suff i had deleted. so I'm good to go.
