recently downloaded icon

When you double click on something and download it. In the search table, instead of the quality stars you get a torn paper looking icon to tell you that you've already downloaded it......we'll how do i get rid of the icons? Yes I've done a search on this already and noone has answered the question. All help would be appreciated. Thanks
