Angry FILE MIS-NAMEING

Why do users intentionally misname files and waste other users time in downloading. Especially a problem in the Program search where some programs take many hours to download. Also why do other usere keep these files for others to download?

I've run across files from time to time that have the wrong artist, wrong name, etc. and although it can be aggravating at times, it's not fatal, people. Some people simply don't know the correct artist and try to post it by the song hook (which helps if you DON'T know the title or artist) and I think that percentage of people who do it maliciously is very small. I burned Destiny's Child with bonus tracks and none of the songs corresponded to the titles...so does that make me an *******, or just a victim of circumstances beyond my control. Not everyone is on the same learning curve, have a little compassion, change the file to the correct name and keep on swimmin'....

Default reply to mis-naming

I understand an occasional misname on a song but that's not what I'm griping about. It's the ASSHOLES who intentional take a program like MS Office XP Pro 2000. copy it to their share file and then rename it Office Pro 2005! No a mistake, not a slip, just being a *******. It takes 2-4 hours to download and such a waste of time. So many people do this that it's makes the Program download virtually useless.

Well, I have a voodoo doll just for those purposes...LOL! Unfortunately, as the world keeps spinnin', so do the assholes and some **** splatters. I know it's annoying in the scenario you mentioned, but what can you do? Hopefully, the people who ARE doing this will recognize that they're not amusing and move on to other things...we can only hope! PM me about the Office XP thing, I have it, if you need it.
