ALL for nothing I recently download a LARGE (640 MB) file a.k.a. The *** 2 - CD 1 (format ISO) and when I opened it (WinRAR) it said the file is either damaged or an unknown format. So I download WinISO, and that didn't help either. Same thing with StuffIt. Is there anyway possible for me to fix this instead of downloading it again??? Sorry no warez talk here; see Forum Rules (click here) |
same thing happend here. faile was shown as 701.?M, verify faiel.acual size was 1.1g. looked at file, did not start with rar signature (PK) but RIFF. looks like somebody is trying to screw things up. |
Same here I got the game installed but when i try to play it says insert the correct cd. I'm lost. |
Hey guys, watch your file sizes, Games and programs can be very dangerous things to download as many of them contain viruses and they can be difficult to install... I dont know much about iso files, I always dl avi or mpeg... Maybe you could try the VLC media player it has all the built in codecs and plays all files and its a free dl...;) |
Oh and another tip you can try check the file out using a site called Bitzi..... Right click on file in search window Click on advance Click on look file up with bitzi Its a great site, people go there to comment on files, whether their any good or not p.s I never dl movie files unless they have been rated on bitzi...;) |
Thanks Thanks for replying and youre right about that site. I went there yesterday and it has good info about files. And for the game, it didnt have a virus (but I checked before I used it) however I had to download a crack to get it to work. It works perfectly now. |
