![]() I've read a few threads in here that say that if I have paid anything for Limewire I've been scammed. Is that true? I paid for this service through a website called ezmp3s.com if it is true, what do I tell my credit card company when I call them? Thanks in advance! |

![]() Hi Beckita You have indeed been scammed and, depending on how long ago you purchased your "free" copy of LW (less than four weeks is ideal), you should be able to get your money back. Tell your credit card company that you were tricked, by false advertising, into buying some software that is freely available. You might also want to mention that there are over a hundred of these scam sites that specialise in fleecing gullible internet users. Beckita, if your purchase was a long time ago then you will have to put this down to experience. Next time, whenever purchasing anything via the internet do some research on the company concerned before parting with your money. UK Bob |
