Default general questions

Hey everyone, I just joined the forum and would like to ask some questions about limewire basic. These may be stupid questions for some, but I'm just curious. On the library page I noticed a header called uploads 0/0. Is this uploads from my computer? What is the 0/0 for? Also what is a hit? The only numbers I ever see are in the hit column. I appreciate the help. Thanks

Hi murman

The hits is how many times that file has been retured in another hosts search results.

The 0/0 means this. The 1st 0 represents the number of full uploads for that file during your current session. The 2nd 0 represents partial uploads of that file during your current session.
The partial uploads come from when a host that is downloading a file has multiple hosts to upload from, and your file is one of them. The downloading host gets the piece of the file it needs from you and the other pieces from hosts that are uploading it also, thus creating what is known as the swarming effect.

btw: this is post 1,500 for me

Default general question reply

Thank ya'll for answering my question. I've just got one more, so bear with me. Is it, in your opinion worth upgrading to limewire pro? Also will the pro version allow you to review something, say a song before you download it? Thanks
