Okay, it asked for a Canadian postal code and I just gave up, but try going to the following sites for info and comparisons:

https://www.consumerreports.org/main...=1122434366346

http://www.pcworld.com/resource/info...onitors,00.asp

Hope it helps! You also may want to try going to independent computer shops and pawn shops, if you're really looking for a bargain. Happy shopping!

Dude! You're gettin' a Dell! Remember that commercial?! Anyway, Dell make reliable hardware, glad you found something and you're happy with it...now you've got me looking for a new monitor!

Damn, looks like I'm too late. Anyway, I would have reccomended this one over the Dell monitor. Good luck with that Dell monitor though. I've heard some bad things about their lower end LCD's.

Like what? I've bought a used Dell monitor, had it for over six years and let my kids use it and it's still working although it's a big as a bus...

I heard of problems with a lot of dead pixels with lower end Dell LCD displays. Then, when you try to exchange or repair a monitor that's still under warranty they won't let you send it back for a replacement. I've heard of several nightmares like that, one even with a $700 21" LCD. It's just things like that that make me never want to buy a Dell product. My $0.02.
