Default Losing downloaded data?

When I download certain files, I have noticed that the program dumps a lot of my file just as I hit 100%. This has happened with this file like, fifteen times... I hope I'll get lucky or something, but am getting antsy... What's up? Does this mean I'll have to spend $89.00 to buy the file?

The file is corrupt right!? Then find a different source. Preferably one that is the correct size. If you're refering to warez then I can't help you.

The thing is, that if you watch the file download, one moment you will have downloaded 100% of the file then you blink and oops, the meter says that it's only 89% downloaded.

I guess it is corrupt... It usually happens with pdfs, and there usually is only one source, maybe three. What's weird is that sometimes you'll have no problem with corrupt files, and other times- when its a rare one? - you'll just have that maddening cycle.

The bad thing is that, with these pdfs you often can't open the partial file AT ALL.... No such bad luck with this one, it's like I've got everything but the cover photo! Thanks for your help.

well usually corrupted files keep cycling back to where it got corrupt to repair the file so you would just have to wait or try a different file
