Billing Can you break down the charges I received on my credit card? I have the basic but yet there is a charge for $42.71? I thought I had purchased the Pro, but when I tried to sign in, it didn't recognized my address??!! This could explain part of the charge if I have, but not all of it. Am I charged for every download or just the one time charge for joining? Please clarify! |

Newbie breavan It is quite easy to explain what has happened, you went to a scam site then had a failure of common sense, gave the scammers your money and payment details, now they are wringing all the money they can out of your account. That's what happened. Now contact your CC company and tell them you want your money back because you were conned by a scam site set up to part the naive from their money, and being a newbie you really didn't know any better. Delete all the rubbish they let you have and download LW or LW Pro from here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml Just remember in future, when you want to purchase something via the internet do some research about the company you want to do business with. But if you can't do that then give your money to charity. UK Bob Last edited by ukbobboy01; July 27th, 2005 at 12:00 PM. |
