 A beta version definition can be seen here & here So basically, the beta version is one that tries out new developments & ideas. Some of these might contain some bugs so those that use the beta version can help to find them. The beta assists the developers toward a final official release. It may also assist users by solving some issues they have with using the previous official version.  |
