Is Limewire legal or illegal?

By doing what makes using Limewire illegal?

im just going to start saying its illegal and hopefully, it will get the stupid newbies that cant comprehend and use a forum search function, off the network. (in hopes of) USE IT!

limewire is a perfectly legal site showing you the wonders of open information sharing, if you choose to use it legally, then it is legal, if you choose to use it ilegally then it is illegal, simple as that.

So, what is counted as illegal?

sony spent a lot of money going to court and proving that the video recorder wasn't illegal.
however recording tv shows with one is.

all i will say on this matter is a few people have been prosicuted recently in the uk for using limewire and other file sharing programs,so it is really up to you,the fines have been large up to £3,000 and parents have had to pay where it has been children using file sharing,but i figure that with the record companies charging so much for cd's when they are cheep to make,they only have themselves to blame.KEEP SHARING

When it says this it NOT free and states how much it costs..You must then ask yourself .."Did I Pay For This?"...If this unusual train of thought leads you to the assumption that maybe you did'nt...Your most likley gonna be considered a thief!..Unless you can prove you were so stupid you did'nt know any better!..At any rate, to be that stupid and make it fly..would cost you a fortune!..
