The IP address that you see in the 'Direct Connect' is yours and yours alone. Each person has their own IP address.

The numbers has to be entered in the order that they appear. If the last four numbers are :1234 then that's the order that they have to be.

Hi all
With direct connect, what is the way around both parties being behind a firewall (Router with cable in my case...software firewall with other party). Both of us are getting the message 'Your computer is behind a firewall or router and cannot receive direct connections.' when the Direct Connection tab is clicked-on.
Can it be done still and could anyone possibly go through how with me?
Many thanks
Lindsay
