video issue i have a problem with the video files i got off limewire. the problem is that when i play the files they come up with weird colors. some look like negatives from photos, while others are shaded yellow or red or white. this problem started when i upgraded from version 4.8.1 to 4.9.7, and its still here on the newest version. if it matters i have the newest version and it runs on windows media player. thanks for any help in advance |
Try a different player & see if the problem persists. Might I suggest VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site) which has in-built codecs. If the problem is not there with VLC then it looks like your wmp needs an update of codecs. See the Upld/Downld Problems Sticky thread for a list of codec sources. If the problem however does still exist with VLC, then it may be due to a bug within LW's present version. |
