![]() Files are also named wrong so they will avoid the filters so watchout for that too. Filters are not 100 percent bullet proof. Like a email spam filter, they find ways around it. Go for the largest file size, not the smallest. and no one here said size doesnt matter because it does filters cannot filter by the size of the file only the words. |

![]() I have to chime on all this too. Within the past month, while trying to search and download some talks (usually mp3s), I got lots (over 240 +) files I wanted. Most of them, since being added to my download list, "need more sources" - and when I now type in the keywords again which listed them in the first place, I get lots of junk titles (saying "Not related to ____" [keyword used]) and not many, if any, of the previous listed files. Hey, the subject couldn't have turned that cold! So I'm starting to loose faith in LimeWire Pro - but being a Mac user, have no other place to turn. What's happening????? ![]() |

![]() Spammers rename files just to screw with people and to discourage file sharing. Check files with Bitzi Web Lookup before downloading. It'll help you sort out if it's a good file or not. While on the Bitzi site, search for the file there and use the magnet link to launch the file in limewire. Then search for it again in LW. That'll help find some good sources for the files. Also preview the file when it gets to 10-15% to check that it's what the title says. See this thread for tips on searching and downloading files. How to find music(and movies). See: Fake files showing up in search results (Connecting for ages with many hosts & then Need More Sources when trying to download a file.)
