I know you probably get asked this all of the time and so do I. Is Limewire legal? I remember the napster thing and i just wondered if this is any different. I download stuff all the time by the way.

ok, then it is illegal what we are doing. But, what are the chances of getting caught? This is the reason I do not leave my files open to for others to take. But, I notice sites such as MSN and i-tunes music use the exact same files, many which come from our files but sell them.

I guess the rules vary. I get music from the library and copy it, also I used to tape record songs from the radio. Not trying to stir things up, just curious.
