newbie needs help downloading

I type in programme I want and of course I get a stack of results, for example I click on a zip file approx 850 kb and when i check folder all I see is set up, i assumed I would see more, like serial etc etc. Also when I clcik on set up i cant open as norton finds virus and thats as far as I get

what am i doing wrong

850 kb file sizes are nasty p2p trojans just use common sence how could a program be 850 kb or below? becuase they are trojans and why not read the sticky at the top about viruses on network

Thanks for help, I have as yet not seen a programme I have been chasing that is of normal size, as siad, new to this game, I assume I am doing as everybody else in limewire, ie select programmes, programme name and then search? Everything I see is around 850 kb?
