The hits shows how many times that file has been returned in search results of other hosts.

It doesn't mean it has been uploaded.

It also won't be returned in your search results, because why would you want to download a file you already have, and is in your share folder.

Maybe I read the previous posts wrong, but I always thought that the 'hits' were the number of people who searched for a particular song. I know diddly squat about things like this!

It is the number of searches that found that particular song on that particular computer. It has nothing to do with the number of people who searched for it but rather the number of searches that found that particular song on your computer.

yes it works.

by the way the hit colum only show how many times it came up into ones person search, but, the upload colum shows two numbres 0/0 , the one in the right shows how many people are uploading that file since you are conected. the one to the left shows how many has actualy complete the upload since you are conected.

The location colum its supose to show how many copies of your file are in rign in that moment, i think. if some one can corect me if im wrong about that last one please.
